I have not received an undamaged copy of my SC&M magazine in quite a while also.
Could it be because of the cover material that the magazine uses gets caught up in the postal machines? I get subscriptions to many different magazines and this is the only one that is consistently torn up. What's interesting is that the SC&M would appear to have stronger cover material than most of the other magazines that I get, also more slippery. I wonder if Doug Auld and the team would consider looking into this and change the thickness or material of the covers. I hate to put it on them, but it is the only magazine consistently torn up. |

I can say that Doug mails SC&M at a lower rate than 2nd class, or periodical mail. That may or may not have anything to do with it. And I do get tired of having to explain stuff like this that happens when it should not happen. So, DWB and others, raise holy hell with the postal "service" and/or your elected representative and anyone else. It's a damned shame that it should come to this, but there is no other way for the time being. 27 months and 24 days, then I join Marv in retired bliss.

About what I'd expect from you. Do your homework.

I belong to the union. And I will always support them. Maybe you need to do some homework.

I worked at magazine printing plant for about 30 years. Chances are, the post office recieved your magazine in the same condition you recieved it in.
