Hope for a good outcome. This is why I am very hesitant to do anything to my car. I recently put a aftermarket radio in mine, but I always remove the face when I leave teh car and lock it. My car has dents all around, scraps, and has no hub caps on it so it looks pretty crappy. And honestly, it is crappy.

Mud Packer is right on the professional job. I was told yesterday that a second truck was stolen in the same apt complex as mine. It was a newer Dodge Ram with 22" and a dvd systems. So someone had us picked out.
If the keys are all accounted for, it had to be stolen with a tow truck. With that immobilizer system it takes way too long to swap computers and someone would have seen something.

This is likely one that when found will be nothing but a cab and a frame.
Those parts aren't real good on re-sale because there are hidden VIN numbers that make them easily traceable. (If you know where to look that is.) If those parts were found on another vehicle with the hidden VIN's ground off or not matching the vehicle, it is a dead give away they are stolen.

There is hidden vin's all over vehicles. Engine blocks, tranny's, frames, doors, seats. You name it, it may have a vin on it.

No worries Aero. I work for the largest auto insurance company in the U.S. so I see stolen vehicles and do research on them daily.

I hope this one turns up and the scumbags who stole it are caught.

The more of these guys we get behind bars, the easier my job gets.

Any updates from Fishers, Indiana tonight? (Can you tell the racing season is over?)

Seriously, hopefully you'll be reunited with your truck very soon. I work near 106th & I-69 and have been on the "lookout"!
