There's a nice covered bridge in Sidney, which is in Shelby County. The bridge is in one of the prettiest public parks I've ever seen and the fall colors should be amazing, the parks name is Tawawa Park. There may be info on the city of Sidney website. Pick up some fried chicken and go have a picnic, done this with the family many times, you'll enjoy it. Lots of walking trails and water in the park.

Like to see posts of folks new to Waynesfield coming in for a race. This should be a great show. Hope many fans come out to support it. Let's see - I'd like to order a partly cloudy day, 68 degrees, 0 percent chance of rain, nice breeze out of the north, 30 360s, 40+ non-wingers, 25+ mini sprints!! Can't wait!! Besides, the Steelers stink this year, so who needs football on Sundays?!!

I may be a minor player but the McInturff Racing #2 will be there running with the 360's. Missed the other dates at Waynesfield this year so I'm looking forward to a homecoming day at the 'field

One week from today the 1st annual Harvest Of Sprints will kick off at WRP. This event will be a great one that will just put the icing on the cake to all the other local tracks races. There will be no other competing races in the area so the car counts should be nice. If this event is well attended by the fans we promise to grow it in a big way next season. We hope to see you there.

If the weather cooperates, I look forward to both the Fall Finals @ Gas City on Friday and the Harvest of Sprints @ WRP on Sunday. With the sun setting earlier, both tracks should hold their moisture and provide great conditions for non wing sprint car racing at its best. Can't wait for next weekend!
