Yellow with less than ten to go, Short had over a full straight lead.

Carson Short and Nick Bilbee took the field to the green in the Sprint car main event. The caution flew on the original start due to Bilbee getting a jump on Carson. Brady Short went from third to first on the first lap, and began to pull away a little over Bilbee. Chris Babcock went around Carson Short to take third on lap three. The caution flew for the second time on lap four for Jake Simmons who had spun in turn four. Hud Cone stalled on the restart to bring out caution number three. Babcock and Bilbee traded passes for second on the restart, only to see Jon Stanbrough fly around the both of them for second. It was all for naught, as the caution on lap six for Danny Holtsclaw and Carson Short nullified the passes. Charlie Belden Jr got upside down on the restart, causing a red flag. Short and Bilbee pulled out on the restart ahead of the field. Stanbrough moved around Babcock for third, and began to close in on Bilbee for second. At the halfway point it was Brady Short, Bilbee, Stanbrough, Jordan Kinser, and Babcock making up the top ten. By lap 20, Short held a full straight lead over Bilbee, who himself had a half straight advantage over Stanbrough. The caution flew, erasing all advantages on lap 21, as Levi Shields spun in turn four. Stanbrough took second on the restart from Bilbee, then moved high, and slid over the banking, losing several positions. With five to go, Short held a full straight lead. That gap would remain for the last five laps, as short took win number seven at Bloomington over Bilbee, Kinser, Stanbrough, and Babcock.

Brady Short is a master at this race track! 4 in a row!! 7 Bloomington feature wins this year. Good job. Stanbrough got up to 2nd and jumped the cushion. It was short, Bilbee, kinser.
FYI...kinser was in Brady's primary car. And Brady said his motor was cutting out all night.
