Johnny Mackison Sr was a hot shoe in Central PA in the 60s. His son, Johnny Mackison Jr has been driving sprints in the same area for many years. Jr's son Jordan is expected to start driving later this year.

BTW, there's no 'n'. It's Mackison, not Mackinson.

Wow. Didn't Johnny win a day All-Star race here in Terre Haute like 10-12 years ago? Red 65 maybe?

Keading a half second quicker than 2nd Keith Bloom then Stanbrough and Hunter. 2nd through about 13th quick are in the 17.3 to 17.6 bracket. Kaeding went 16.8. This was all in 1st hot laps.

Now looks like they are hot lapping everyone again. Times are getting faster.

That was probably him. I have never followed the All-Stars, but I remember he ran with them a fair amount.
