You laugh because I'm different. I laugh because you're all the same. Copied from the back of the #16 supermodified.

I'm still waiting for an answer, couldn't find anything definite. But from looking at 2016 points, there seems to be a drop off after #8, so I'm guessing there were only 8 full time drivers last year?
Surely somebody here knows...
Last year only 3 drivers ran the same car all year anyway just continuing the downward slide its been on for a few years. Plus Indiana is down to only one track pretty much racing 410 non wing sprints every week now and that is LPS otherwise no weekly Friday track and the sunday deal has been dead already for a few years.
Looks to be about 13 full-timers in USAC Sprints this year. Last year, it was 11 full-timers and few more who ran around 80% of the races. Looking forward to another great year!
IMHO that full timer stuff is just bunk if you only look at the end of the year vs what started the year. Usually after Sprint week a few teams peel off and run local or select shows but won't do the travel thing.
USAC compared to All Stars and other traveling series has done as good or better than some in recent years as far as core.
I remember late 80s early 90s where just three or four hit every race.
