Sure we could go 1000-1200 to win 100-150 to start, but thinking this is a fair way to go. Modifieds get $100 to start, street stock $50 and lower classes 30-35 so all driver by making feature go home with more than the entry, and leaving with a good feeling of I want to go back, hope that makes sense to ya. We have come a long way and still have more to offer at Chandler!
That is the exact reason I will be racing at Chandler this weekend. I'm not a front runner so big $ to win does nothing for me, but $200 offsets enough expense for me to justify the 3 hour one way drive. $100-150 to start and I wont leave the driveway. Look forward to getting on this track Friday night.

If I wasn't so far away I would be there to support the track. Glad to see someone understand top heavy purses are one of the things hurting our sport the most.
I feel most racers build the car they afford and race for expense money and this is the best way to keep them racing and fight those 8-10 car features.

Were you there? How many sprints were in the pits? I was giving some serious thought to heading that way until I saw the radar.

I dunno if they were sprints or not but I saw 3 more trailers in Chandler sitting at the car wash parking lot when the storms moved in.
