This race was Stanbroughs to lose and that's what happened with the spin out... Was clearly ahead of the field.. Dunno if anyone would've caught him? Cottle and BShort battled for a while... Catching Madman... Ballou is just a fighter... Said it himself didn't have the car... But still finishes 3rd! Him and B Short nosed each other for awhile til traffic kinda gave way for Brady to take 2nd... All in all was a good night... Met DD and saw some good Mod action also... Anderson from Lima,OH 1st and Losh from Rensselaer, IN 2nd... Hope KTJ is doin OK after that tumble!! Rough Ride....

Tonight was my first time at Montpelier and I have to say I liked the place a lot. I was a little disappointed in the car count. I wasn’t expecting a huge field but surprised that only 15 showed. Oh well. Still a pretty stacked field. Thank you to all teams that supported this show. Made it to a new track with the sprint feature checkered at 8:20 pm eastern time. Home in Effingham IL before 11 central. Can’t beat that. I half thought about going for the double when I passed the Putnamville exit on I-70 at 10:30 but thought better of it.

Thanks to everyone who supported the MSCS program last night at the Montpelier. We didn't have a huge field of sprint cars but the quality of cars and feature was outstanding. The MSCS and sprint teams were outstanding to work with!

Thanks again to the cars owners and drivers for coming to a new track to the fans for packing our grandstands.

Congratulations to Shane Cottle and car owner Paul Hazen for picking up the feature win.
