I see posters commenting on tech
I have been involved with the GM CT crate engine for nearly 10 years and know that one of the biggest problems with keeping the engines paired up is the tech process
the counterfit seals that are available are part of the problem but there are many other concerns amongst racers and promoters as to how to tech and what to look for when teching----then comes the problem of who is going to tech
we went back to the beginning and decided that the engine seal itself will do a major part in conrolling the burden of tech and cheating
although all the engines in this program do have the original GM seals in place
we have elected to step up the seal program on every engine in this program
the original GM seals do remain in place but a high security double logo cable seal system is also installed in 6 locations
1 on each head --2 on the intake--1 on the timing cover and 1 on the oil pan
further more each seal is wrapped with a tampere evident foil tape that is logo and QR coded for easy access to the documentation on the website
each engine is issued a build # which is stamped into the intake
all the seal #'s and locations along with serial # information and customer name is available for anyone to see on our website ----which makes the tech process much more accurate and quicker.
