So are Honda and Toyota cars. Where does the money go when these cars are sold? 20% stays in AMerica and 80% goes back to Japan. Where does the money go Toyota's win in NASCAR and now USAC? Does it stay hereor go back across the Pacific?

Atleast when Chevrolet, Foxco or Gaerte wins the money that was paid for the motor stays in America.

I might not say it the same way DWB does...but in concept, I agree with him.

AB here in St. Louis just got bought out by InBev

General Electric is the next American company on the auction block...

Yep, I would rather see an American "owned" product win. The others may be made here, but the profits leave here.

Obviously Jeff Claxton does a great job. I think Toyota's involvemet will make racing more expensive for everyone. In Nascar, they designed a brand new engine in a computer with special coatings and a lot of Indy technology. Now everyone else is going to have to spend a bunch to catch up, and they will because they have money too. In open wheel, the type that we love, it might price some people out. I don't want to sound completely negative, and after re-reading my first post, I was. It was a beautiful day. I got to watch the race with a couple of good buddies. There was a lot of green flag racing, not a yellow fest. The race for 3rd, 4th, 5th did offer some good battles. I also got to have a few words with Dave Darland, Jon Stanbrough, and Mat Neely, so I still had a great day.
