One of the neatest parts of the event that a first-timer can miss out on is the kids. Take time out to enjoy the kids & karts and perhaps get a pit pass and walk through and see it all.
I love the midgets and it's what I go for, but this event is really so much more than that.

I agree, since the days are so long at the Rumble its worth it to buy a pit pass and just walk around after you get tired of sitting for a while, you never know who you will bump into.

If I want a reserved seat & access to the pits, how much is that going to cost me? Was there about 10 years ago with the wife & we only bought reserved seats.. Planning on going saturday & do some waking around..

I would just buy a pit pass, and you get a GA seat with it for $30 for one, $55 for two and $75 for three. There will be seats open, but we will have a nice crowd. The ticket info is located here, along with hotel, drivers list and schedule
