I think I've been to one Gold Crown when it's halfway decent. Doesn't matter. The event is worth watching in the snow. The stands have always been packed, even if it's 40 degrees. I won't be there tonight, but I'll be there the rest of the weekend in my coveralls with my pops cookin' on the grill in the parking lot and drinking COLD beer, 30 degrees or not. IT'S GOLD CROWN WEEKEND!

EDIT: Looks like I'm not missing anything tonight!

Well it's rained out no mention of running a double show.

Thank you for all your patience.

Friday & Saturday's events are planned as scheduled.

Pit Gates will now open each day at Noon....Front Gate at 5:00

Temperature's will be a little chilly but were going to do everything we can to put on a great event. With
some of the best Midget and Sprint cars drivers in house for 2 days this should make for great racing.

2 classes each night won't make for a late night.

Please join us after each night in the Pits at the Budweiser Beer Garden. Bonfire/Great Friends/Meet Drivers.
It should make for some great "Gold Crown" stories as always.

Don't forget about the Wiffle ball game on Saturday between the Midget and Sprint car drivers.
What class gets Wiffed?

Thank you
Kevin & Tammy

The weather sure sucks

Is there a schedule for the races on Friday and Saturday. I would love to attend, but living in CA makes for a long night of driving. Does anyone know if the cushion will have a two night package?

Wish everyone better weather for the weekend, and look forward to watching on PPV

The rain is moving out right now..Hoping we get some sun here before Noon to help with track drying and preps....Don't let a little cold scare you,the action on the track will keep you warm!!!...One of the best events we have in the STL area.....

Cold doesn't concern me, however all the water on the grounds does.Unfortunately local forecast is calling for more rain this afternoon, grrrr.
