Dad..... Clay County in Flora, Illinois was also a very fast, fun, and wide laned facility! Close racing to the checkered flag!

DAD, I think Osgood is out also, the "horsey" folks took it over, always enjoyed running there, skeeters was bad, and big, had a guy tell me those tracks I saw in the woods were Turkey, didn't fool me, I seen th skeeters! Bob

It was sure a neat little track. After about 20 or so laps we would rub out all the grass growing on the track, and had a real good time. We learned a long time ago to always carry bug spray with us.

There are a lot of little fair ground tracks around that would make a great home track.. for us.. or maybe some joint races with you guys..

I would like to go back to Columbus In. on a semi weekly basis. With a little care it would make a great track for our size cars. Heck we might even invite some sidewinders in to help fill the pits.

The fair board in Columbus is a PITA to deal with. Ran there for years with CKC. Great track though.

It's a fair board thing most people just wouldn't understand.

Being from Columbus, I always thought it was a snob cummins thing. My daughters figure skating was the same way. So glad I moved to Franklin, still just a small town.

You guys in Southern Indiana need to try the mighty Macon Speedway 1/5th mile bull ring. It could be a contender on this list for sure

Amen brother, We need a few Macon style tracks in Indiana. Made for Midgets it is. Little doesn't mean a not exciting race track. A little known PowerI Secret.

You Illinois guys were on to something a few years ago.

What those tracks remind me of is when you go to the State Fair and one two motorcycles start racing around this big old Wooden Bowl chasing one another, and you are looking down on top of them and getting dizzy and a little sick and enjoying the whole thing.

I will add it to my Addendum poll.
