I was at one PRA @ IRP. Carl Edwards won and lapped the entire field if my memory is correct. Edwards, Stewart, Leffler and Ken Schrader were all there.
MileDirt, I agree with you 100%- it is time for POWRi to start a Champ Car division. Nothing makes for a quality product like good, old-fashioned competition.
Anyone remember that there once was competition for USAC in the NCRA? They ran a Champ Car division in the 80's, and it was a shot in the arm for the cars. At that time, the big cars were reeling with a lack of interest due to the fact that they were no longer a part of the Championship Trail. With the NCRA's involvement, interest was heightened. Suddenly, there were more events, and more seats for drivers to fill. There even developed a rivalry between the two sanctions, which increased fan interest.
Aren't all these consequences of a competing series exactly what us fans are looking for?
