Teams heading back west is something that seems to happen every year if they are not in the points race. Friday is an off day in Pa. and they come back to run the local shows.

I just looked at the difference in the point standings and it looks like everyone was given 45 "appearance" points in addition to the points they would have received for Qualifying and the heat and semi finishes.

With teams not known to be long lasting. Next year who gets the starting spot the owner or driver if not still a team?

Teams I believe were all paid start money if they made the feature and the ones who didn't were paid their tow money. The money that is left over from the purse will be added to next year's purse at that race. So might be 7k to win and more throughout the field. No double feature just more added to purse.

think part of fall off of teams following usac is you dont get your money after each nights race you get it a week or two later so to go run 4 -6 races it takes alot of money up front thats hard on smaller teams so most dont travel anymore maybe they should look into paying each night. could be wrong thats the way it had been dont know if its changed or not

With electronic bank payments, looks like 24 to 48 hours would be available to all teams. I am sure it would help small teams especially at the beginning of the season, and week long swings.
