Jarrett Andretti and Jeff Bland Jr made up the front row for the Sprint Car feature, with Andretti leading lap one over Nick Bilbee. Casey Shuman and Carson Short moved to third and fourth respectively as Bland began to fall backwards. The caution flew on lap three, slowing the field for debris on the speedway. Bilbee and Andretti battled for the lead on the restart, with Bilbee snagging the lead on lap five. Bilbee immediately started to pull away from the field, leaving Andretti to battle with Shuman for second. Andretti began to pull closer to Bilbee as the field took the halfway signal. Bilbee, Andretti, Shuman, Bland and Brady Short made up the top five on lap 14. The top three cars began to work their way through lapped traffic as laps closed down. Bilbee and Andretti touched coming out of turn four, allowing Shuman to take second on lap 16. Shuman took the lead on lap 18 by a half a car length over Bilbee. With five laps to go, Shuman had extended his lead to a comfortable four car advantage over Bilbee. Unfortunately for Shuman, the yellow flew for Jared Fox just after the white flag flew. This would set up a one lap shootout between Shuman, Bilbee, and Andretti. Shuman was able to lead the final lap and take the win over Bilbee, Andretti, Brady Short, and Carson Short.

Sprint Car heat race winners were Carson Short, Nick Bilbee, and Casey Shuman

First race roughness. New surface. I think it will get smoothed out
