We park in the infield. It use to be free. Last year it was $25. This year its $50. General admission went from $30 last year to $40 this year. Wont be long and this guy will be priced out.

This will be by 33rd 500 and for the first 30 years I always said the place kept getting better and better each year.
Now it seems to me that since the greedy sisters ran Tony George off the place is continuing to change, but not necessarily for the better.

You must be sitting in the wrong section. Mine only went up 3%, this year, from $100 to $103.

Nobody likes it when the price to anything goes up, but IMS isn't immune to rising costs like everybody else. I know parking in the infield might be tradition for some, but there is still free parking available. It just requires a bit more of a walk. I think the prices are still very reasonable versus a lot of the other major sporting events and where else can you still bring in your own food and drink? Most of the short tracks around here don't even allow that anymore.

I have no idea what your point of reference is, but it is broken. I went to the SLS promotions web page to get the current WOO prices for this year. These are the same prices as last year.
