But I think I can do Kokomo twice on $40! Gas maybe $3-$5 round trip, I eat before I get to the track (Mcds Mcdoubles Dollar Menu), and take a cooler to stash at Bob and Monica's Camp. Or I can go once with pit pass.

Sit at home and order payper view. $40 wouldn't even cover a fraction of the gas to get some where for a USAC show. I could maybe get a local MTS show in for $40 in Michigan, but even that would be a stretch.

Since that's not enough to get into the Chili bowl I'm going to the Belleville Midget Nationals and eating a corndog

If I could only attend one race I would have to hitchhike to Eldora and watch the world 100.
Or drive and then wait till I find a person drunk enough to pay my way in. This one is more likely to happen. Haha

If you take I-84 you get better gas mileage.

Mike

Be nice to people on the way up. You might need them on the way down. Jimmy Durante

I'm 10 miles south of Haubstadt so Tri-State is it for me. $30 should cover it with $20 or so to get in, eat a couple sandwiches with maybe a popcorn, take my own beer and ride the motorcycle. Sounds good to me! I kind've envy those who are more centrally located in Indiana who have multiple tracks within an hour or so but to have a great track 12 minutes away is also a treat. I-69 really makes Bloomington, Paragon and Indy easier to reach.

Get a buddy to split the gas with me, pack a cooler full, and do the nearly 300 mile road trip to Haubstadt

DIRT-Gas City, Kokomo, Montpelier, Twin Cities, Lawrenceburg, Lincoln Park, Bloomington, Rushville, Paragon and Shelbyville. They all have open wheel racing on the card as well.

PAVEMENT-Anderson, Speedrome, Baer Field, LOR and Mt. Lawn. Some open wheel shows while others would be fendered cars.

Lucky SOB... Can I trade you those tracks for the tracks we have in S.E. PA?
