Of coarse people will speculate when the other 2 cars are rent a rides. Especially when this Bell kid came out of nowhere and gets a ride in Keith Kunz' sprint car which is also a known rent a ride. I only wish he could have struck a deal with Kunz instead which would have provided an added car to the count and kept Tyler in his ride.

I would be willing to bet Toyota had some say in this... More than likely saw how they lost kyle Larson and don't want to make the same mistake again.

I have watched Tyler's career in both Sprints & Champ Dirt Cars.
He's a talent. Hope he finds another ride.
Best Regards,
John

Christopher Bell has run everything from tq's midgets wing and non-wing sprints, and got all those rides on his talent! I haven't had time to get my silver crown car out or he would be in it! Big D called and hired him without anyone else's influence except for his team members! Everyone thinks they know everyone's business but the truth is if a driver goes out and wins races owners will notice and owners will hire the drivers with the most talent! Thank SIX-R for staying in the sport.

I think some are more puzzled and maybe angered as to why Tyler (one of the best to ever sit in a Crown car and still at the top of his game) would be ousted from a ride he has had for so long and done so much with.

"I wonder if Chris brings money"

"In this day and age I would say, yes."

Since more than half of the drivers running races in USAC are driving for themselves or their fathers, does that put those guys in the same category as "bringing money" to their rides?

I know absolutely nothing about this situation, but I remember that back in the day, this was a common occurrence. There were two groups of people: owners and drivers. Owners changed drivers and drivers changed owners very frequently. Now, many of the "teams" are owner/drivers or family groups which don't change. So, when a change does occur, it seems to surprise a lot of people. If you regularly check out Facebook pages such as "VINTAGE SPRINT CARS,From the Beginning To The 80's..........", you'll see pics of the famous drivers of yesteryear in many different cars, often in the same season. That's just the way it was.
