I'm working hard to get my mini sprint out to Montpelier this season; a little TOO hard, maybe, because I sprained my shoulder wrestling with the bladder last weekend trying to get things ready for this Saturday. Now it looks like Sept 7 is the target date, so even if a bonus wasn't offered I'd support the adoption of Montpelier/STORM rules to give me one more show to run this year.
Storm/imra midget lites have a date scheduled at the quad city speedway in east moline Illinois on September 15th. I would love to run Vcs we ran there years ago in the tqs. If they run Montpelier rules and run on a different date that doesn't conflict with our series I know we could bring a few cars there way!

I think if you ran midgets with non-wing sprint cars (nothing else)it could turn out to be a great show. I think it would help some because guys might run both. You could start a little earlier to help get everyone home sooner seeing it's a Sunday. Also buy running both if you only have 18 of each it's still not that bad of a deal for the fans. You get to see 2 great races.
