Wished my Engler injected car was ready at least I'll be there to watch!!!

As a reminder.............Travelers.........don't forget to register your name for either of the two mileage pay packages. $50 for 250 miles one way and $100 for 500 miles one way. First five to make the A in each category gets the dough. So you could be 10th on either list and still might qualify for the money!!!

Also........Mark and I are working on some sort of B feature payout if we get enough cars to require one. As this develops, we will fill everyone in......and there will be further developments.

Could you guys use Engler money for Hard Charger or first car not to make the feature? Something of that nature. I sponsored $100 each to the first 2 drivers not to make the feature (Tough Luck Award) at Gold Crown Midget Nationals last year and everyone seemed pretty happy about it.

My plan is to give $50 each night to the first car not to transfer "Engler 1st man out Award" So if you miss the A by one spot that should take away some of the sting. I'd like to pay the car who passes the most cars during the entire weekend a $100 bonus..."Engler Top Performer"
However this is Mark and Phil's call.
That's my suggestion, I want the guys who didn't make it in get some help too.

Mid-America Lightning Sprints has had great sponsors all year. We are very pleased to add Engler Machine and Tool for this event. Kent Transportation out of Kansas City MO has paid $75 at each race for the hard charger will do so for this $1000 to win race on Aug. 31st. We also have one more Speedway motors hard luck award to give out wroth $50. Midwest Speedshop out of Holt Summit MO has donated one shock rebuild certificate to each heat race winner all year. If we have a B-main I will give the top 5 people who don't transfer to the feature certificate also. I like Andy's ideal to leave it up to the racer?

I also had a follow up call from the track promoter last night and he has a meeting set up for tonight with potential sponsors for a dash. This track is very, very excited to have Mid-America Lightning Sprints presented by Jayhawk Millwright drivers and cars at this event!
