The only way to help that track is to get rid of the sand and bring in some clay! Better bring your hard compound tires!

History tells us that at one time midget racing was one of the most popular kinds of racing, until too many tracks competing for the same competitors and fans. Learn from history and pick your spots carefully.

Went to the track yesterday and suprised to see Bob Sargent on the grader showing the crew there at Plymouth how he would prep the track. As for the soil he told on of the guys on the water truck it was better than what he and Reese works with at Terre Haute. And those guys in my opinion are two of the best in the business. Also talked to Mike Zielinski the general manager at the track he is happy with the group of Dirt racers and fans that have been coming to Plymouth. Alot more understanding and more positive than asphalt. He said with all the volunteers that help there, the positive feedback makes that group work that much harder. He also said that Jeff Walker was bringing 2 maybe 3 cars to this event on Aug 3rd. Again just glad to see a dirt track that is nice in Michiana area.

The non wing deal is over saturated but a decent paying wing show would draw a lot of non winged guys to run with them and they would still draw cars from Illinois and Michigan. It would also give the fans something different. I wouldnt worry about what any other track is or was doing let them do their thing but I would want to be different.. These guys can and will make it work no matter what they choose to do. They have come a long way from the start of the year. Best of luck to them..
Butler runs winged sprints every Saturday. How about running winged sprints every FRIDAY at Plymouth? We could have back-to-backers every week. No one else around runs winged sprints weekly other than Butler. Plymouth could be in on the ground floor here.
