A driver shows up with not a lot of experience and then first night out he's starting in front of some of the best drivers in Indiana. In many cases the guys drive right around him with no issues but I've seen many crashes happen during heat races because the field got all bunched up at the start.

The good news is they are qualifying tonight so the #1 pill isn't that big of an issue. I wish your friend good luck in his first nonwing race!

Yes... and sometimes they do that. Tonight it doesn't matter because they are qualifying.

Each car qualifies and I believe they invert 4 for their group. These will be the heat races just don't know lineups until after quals.

This guy is not new to sprint cars as he has been a regular a in the MSA 360 winged series in WI. He has limited non winged experience. Good luck to the 15m.
