saw a race in illinois a couple years ago with tqs and 1000 mini's. 1000 mini won although it was a close second for Mann his tq seemed way underpowered coming off the corners. raced smooth and he was all over the 1000 at times, but the mini just out pulled him all the way down the straits

^I was at that race in Macomb, IL too & have seen TQs and 1000cc cars race a few times over here. The TQs are way underpowered on the straights, but they can still see competitive results if they are fast through the turns.

lol i was the mini that won that race. mann was extremly fast that night and gave me a run for my money. personally on a one lane no passing track they can hang. get them room to pass and a little traction no chance.

A 600cc motor is better than the 1000cc at 35 raceway with the non wing racing there. The 1000cc is just alittle bit to big for a 1/5 mile non wing car.

I think it would be a good match because the turns are pretty wide at 35 and the track slicks off pretty good in the feature so bad for us 1000s and good for the tq guys...Kind will level the playing field...so to speak hope some of you guys come out at least for test and tune then we can see...Thanks

i remember that race well. buckshot had whitesmoke coming off the rears on exit. never seen a tq do that! maybe mann and i will sneek in for a test to check out lap times.

If I was you I'd go race it if you can. Nothing to lose, everything to gain. At the end of the minisprint era here the 600's would win alot on the small tracks against the 1000/1200's. Go beat them guys with your car and you get instant around here. Remember that lap times practice nite will be different race nite. When the track goes dry slick the smaller engine cars do well on a short enuff track.

nothing like a little track cred! the test date looks good. hope to make it for that. 41 races available to date here in Indiana for tqs makes for a busy summer. gonna have to hire a manager to run my business to race all those as it is. maybe i will like the track and show up for the event. just have to see.

i think the 600 sindwinders are at a advantage sometimes just from all the left side weight they have. there a huge difference i think from a tq or 1000 to a 600. 600 is more like a gokart sometimes. Ive raced all 3 and the 1000 are by far my favorite though
