I actually timed them once. From the time the 1st car rolled out for hot laps until the 1st rolled out for the feature was 210 minutes. 70 minutes of that time there were tractors on the track.

It's a disappointing schedule and this is a "forum" for discussing Likes, Dislikes and Opinions. What's wrong with these people discussing their disappointment with the scheduling? Who are you to decide what fans, drivers, track owners and promotors discuss on here?

Pretty sure I said sometimes not all the time on the tractor parade.some of you must not go to every race. Because sometimes we are done with heats by 8:15 and only had 5 heats on the track with 3 heats of sprints and 2 heats of mods and here he comes. I mean really!! Selling cheeseburgers with that being said he is one of the best of what he does in the country. But no track in the country should have to rework the track after 5 heats. And this just didn't happen once this past year either. Some people have a job on saturday nights. main point mscs and tri state are losing cars. A lot of factors go in to it. Too many tracks run on saturday to began with. Drivers can't find rides. And payouts are going down. Just sharing facts. If u can't see cars counts are going down just look at the results in the previous years.

Btw I'm not taking anything away from mscs or tri state speedway. They work their asses off week in week out. From my first post on here I'm just pointing out my THOUGHTS on why car counts and why the schedule is the way it is. I'm not trying to piss anybody off. Last time I checked everybody has different thoughts and this message board is here to share and talk about things. So to add as what I first saying is. Why would mscs schedule all these tracks that everybody is talking about when nobody shows up. I remember going to florence a few years ago and they had 11 cars. If nobody is going to support a full schedule then why adventure out and try new things. Gas is going up and things aren't getting better. When I was talking about payout earlier Trying to get more money through the field maybe would help with some of the cost. Its none of my business but every sancating body and track in Indiana could work on this almost everyone pays out start money up to about 10th to 8th depending where your at. That needs to change if we are going to keep this sport going. Be nice if someone could get as sponsor for their series and maybe reward them with a fuel card or something if they make 4 or 5 straight races witht that series to pay there way to the next race.JMO again. I know there is a lot of people that don't like me for saying what's on my mind. So if you want to come and call me every name in the book and yell at me tell me I'm an idiot, I can be found at tri state speedway every race in turn 3 half way up. Blake Memmer

Isn't the lower car count issue more about there being a few tracks within a three hour radius running a decent show on Saturday nights? ... than there was 5-10 years ago?
