Its Indiana, You never know what to expect and tonight was no different. I was going to celebrate the champions night and hopefully see some good racing as my racing choices are severely limited these days.
Turns out we got a stellar turn out in all classes.
The racing, INTENSE AND FAST!
At the drop of the green Iceman fell back to about 9th but he was back up to 4th by about lap five. Landon Simon and Hupp battled for awhile and then between laps 5-10 it was four cars under a blanket. Ted Hines got by both Landon Simon and Hupp and took command about lap twelve. Coleman worked his way up to second and was presuring Hines for about five laps, One lap one would lead and the next the other and the lead changed durring the laps as well. Coleman make a turn three dive simular to what Ballou tried on him a couple years ago but made it stick to pass Hines. But Hines wasn't going away easily. Battling to pull even a few times until I think Lap 20 where Brett Burdette took another nasty spill at the Burg. (I hope hes ok, Would like a update when possible) After the restart Coleman Pulled away a bit to finish about five cars ahead of Hines. Congrats CGR!
Hupp who was throughout the race a contender to win, Finished third, Puting the spike in the Tie of the already sealed Championship! Congrats to Logan, A very hard fought and earned Championship, Putting his name along side a huge list of from locally famous to nationally famous drivers! Bravo!
Hornet Feature was won by Champion Bowman over A.J Andretti Hacksaw Warmwater Tin Snips Shaw! Congrats!
Mod feature which I left before due to a dog being home more than 6hrs was won by Adam Hitman Hamilton and Scotty Kincade sealed the championship.
No info on Pure Stock Feature. Need updates myself. Wish I could have stayed.
Great night, Vol turned down just right to hear, follow but not be annoying. Flagman, Not so much, Know its a thankless job but I stand by saying you need a spotter in the stand with them!
