ASQ's right, one night is not enough to justify the trip to the left coast. In fact, after making the last 12 straight Oval Nationals, we decided not to go this year since they shortened the event to two nights. Why not add Ventura Midgets & Victorville sprints to that weekend and then it will be a must see deal.

I was hoping to go out to the Ovals again this year,but after it was changed from 3 nights to 2 I passed on that idea as well. 3 nights is the minimum for me to travel to California.

We'll make the trip to SoCal for Turkey Night whether there is other racing going on or not.

I just hope if someone/anyone is going to run a race in conjunction with Turkey Night that they get it up and publicized soon. It's already taking pot full of money to get out there and back and once we're locked in on dates it's a done deal.

It would be great if Ventura ran a program. That is one neat place to see a race, a little brisk, but neat.
