I know! This will affect my descision on how often I will go. I don't bring food but I do enjoy an adult beverage or two!

The Vermilion County Fair Board will have Bud products for sale. $3 per can, or 5 for $12. The no coolers in the grandstand rule is due to the liability risk set for forth by the fairgrounds insurer.

I would say you can carry in a drink or two just no alcohol. There will be beer for sale $3 a beer or 5 for $12. There are signs up around the gates stating the policy about coolers and I believe the fairboard made this change a few years ago

That would be great if they at least let you carry in a can of pop or bottled water. its not that big of deal to go back to the car and just get a drink when needed. i can fully understand the concern for coolers however it will impact how many races several of us fans can attend if we have to buy drinks.

VCS has been a mecca of activity today! Volunteers, and equipment have been out in force getting the track prepped for tomorrow's BIG event! Lots of weed trimming, infield tire painting, and getting sponsor banners, and flags up has got the historic track looking great! Phil Richardson has been going non-stop working the track with tens of thousands of gallons of water, and more work is yet to come this evening, and in the morning as well.
