When i first started going to usac races in the early 70's they would close the season with twin 50's at Eldora one weekend followed by twin 50's at Winchester the next. Those were great times. I just hope they don't need a red to refuel because of the smaller tanks. I wouldn't mind if usac turned it into twin 25's.

RDZ sprint, I think nowadays 50 is too long on dirt. I know how the little 500 works, but it is a pavement. With todays motors and tires, I don't think you get anymore of a race running 50 laps. I said I thought 40 would be OK and it worked at the Mopar Million. Have fun where ever you go this weekend. I went to 2 dirt sprint races last year 50 or more laps and all the action was in the first half of the race. In fact the leader at lap 25 won both of them.
