that's one way for the robinson's to get the king to finally drive for them. they have been supporter's of sprintcar racing for years (j b salvage) . remembering their name on jerry shield's cars. kent's mom told me he wanted to drive sprint's but they wouldn't let him??? he's a good driver...

I wasn't alluding to who's race cars they were driving. Donny Schatz and Steve Kinser ARE TSR drivers.

Fans love the king. When was the last time Steve drove anything but a sprint car? I dont see an issue with it. Same goes with Schatz. Come on its not like the other drivers in this race dont race every weekend. As far as the comments about Clauson and Jones.... Majority of fans have no idea who these guys are. These 2 drivers would be perseved as nothing more than field fillers. Kinser and Schatz drive for the most popular dirt racing series in the country. If your a race fan you know, or atleast have herd about the WOO. If Clauson could win the Indy 500, then he might have a chance for people to know who he is. Unfortunatly no matter how tallented the kid is, he has not done much for a National Audience to have any idea who he is. Levi has done even less. Don't take my comments on these 2 drivers as being negative. The Prelude is set up for a National Audience. Heck go to the race, you will be surprised to see how many people have never seen a Dirt Late Model car. This race is not about the racing on the track.

I just dont think the place is as special as it once was. I understand it is for charity and appreciate its purpose, but just the thought of hearing Darrell Waltrip's voice or seeing him at a place that I once held so high makes me want to stab my eyes out...
