In the last 5 National Midget events, 220 Main event laps have been ran. There has only been ONE pass for the lead! Ouch :headbang

At Slinger, Galeridge led wire-to-wire, but there wasn't much room to pass. The track was way too fast and everyone just rode around the bottom, waiting for someone to make a mistake. That said, it was still exciting - put a few marbles in the bottom of a mixing bowl and spin it around real fast - that's what those cars looked like last night.
I thought it was great to see Olson get his first win. But I couldn't believe Dakoda Armstrong wasn't penalized for dumping a guy on the last turn of the last lap to get a feature transfer. And when he comes out for the feature he gets to start in the second row. Doesn't seem quite fair to me.

However, after reading what little has been printed my observation is still that 4 of the last 5 pavement races have been led start to finish by the same driver. This is in no way derogatory against the winner. He has to stay there to win! I just like the dirt where a guy can start in the back of the field and actually contend for a win! Now that's a good race!
I am glad that I could help in some small way. I wanted to be there as much as anyone else. GREAT JOB CHAD BOAT!! Congrats to Billy, Glen and Chris too! :thumb
