What?

This weekend at Eldora for the past 2 years has been an "Open" Non-Wing Event. The race track both years was fast, no dust, big cushion, and as many slide jobs as you have seen at the Big E... Its great to hear that USAC and Eldora are going to put on a big event but really ashame there are no "Open" Non-Wing events on there schedule now... I think anyone that witnessed these events in the past will agree that were great races for the fans and much appreciated by us local/ less funded teams that enjoy racing at Eldora Speedway! I will be every Non-Wing Event Eldora has to offer no matter what... IMO its still the best race track in the country!

The Plymouth Speedway Facebook page had a status update last week, that the July 28th show they had was being cancelled because of a $20,000 to win sprint race at Eldora. The next day that update was gone.

Nuts! That is the last day of Oshkosh
