Yes, there was a track west of Taylorsville,but can't remember the name for sure,I went there once for a country music show.Jerry Castor could tell you more about it I am sure.I keep thinking it was called Hillbilly park or something close to that.

This past weekend was The Columbus Oldtimers Reunion and I got to talk Tom Neville, the son of car owner Lawrence Neville who ran roadsters at the Columbus Hole. He said that along with Billy Earl, a guy named Johnny Fewell.. (sp)? ..had also driven his Dad's race car. Anyone out there remember this driver or have any info about him?

Tom said he does recall the track in the Taylorsville area being called 'Hog Bottoms'.
