I am surprised no one has acted on this possibility.
Gas City runs till the end of September.

That wouldn't surprise me at all. I think a lot of people realize that the future of this track is up in the air. Team owners and race fans that have been in this racing scene for a while know that historically, this is one of our most important tracks. This is going to be where I'm going to be Saturday night. For me, it'll be a night of racing and reflection. Because you never know.

This is also where Ill be. Im a younger generation at just 26 but this is where we grew up at. From bombers to sprints we have had a lot of nights together with family at this track. To me it has brought us nights of something that means the most to all of us. It may not be ran perfect, have the best food, be the raciest track, but it is more than just that to a lot of us. So with that said we will be there for the finale cheering on the 6s & 6x in our normal spot..

Really. I must have been too young to remember them.. No pun intended. But I still go for the hamburgers there and add the liquid cheese then throw some ketchup on them.. Heck yeah.. But nothing beats the homemade track burgers and hot dogs of my Aunt Macy.. Theyre to die for. For bein a simple food anyhow.

Im a 2 time 50/50 winner this year so gonna try to make a 3 peat at the grand finale this weekend and of course kick back with a couple brews...

See yall there.
