Bob, I Googled Gene Gerber and found this interesting article from 2008. Then I checked the SCTA entry list and results for Speedweek 2011 and found that Syclone Motorsports now runs a class C (306 - 372 c.i.) Street Roadster. It made several passes in the mid 190s, then cranked it up to 207 and change against a 225 mph record for the class. Sounds like fun to me.

Back to the original question about the midget. Gene said he went over to look at it a couple of times, but no one was around to talk to, but he thought it was a Kurtis. He also said it could not have ran there due to not having a roll cage.
