Every modified race at Lawrenceburg is UMP sanctioned (I should know since I send the results to UMP after every race).

In all of the results, schedules, etc. the modified class is always listed as the Budweiser UMP modifieds.

We are always "UMP" ....
What we are trying to say is this is not an "American Mod Series" Race, it is a normal Lawrenceburg Speedway/ Budweiser UMP Mod race that is 30 laps and pays $1500 to win.

Aren:t these mods big block powerd ?

Jim I'm not sure if Strunk ran a Big Block that night or his 358 Small Block. On tracks less that a 1/2 mile the SB do pretty good against the BB.

Used to be our Big block mod was as easy to work on as a sprintcar and almost as light. Now look at them taxi cabs, lol.
