Could it be possible that both the track and the series thought there might be a small car count becuse of the other midget races in the region including: USAC D1 @ Montpelier, BMARA Race in Wisconsin, US 24 Speedway in Logansport Special Midget show, ect. Not sure if there was a USAC National Midget race this weekend or not but if there was that could have factored in the decision of the tracks & the series as well. Both the track and the series are working hard to have the race in the spring of 2012 < per the POWRi & Shadyhill Speedway websites!

I was told POWRI was to be racing at two tracks this weekend in Indiana, but one of the tracks cancelled. The president of the series didnt think it was worth hauling all the way for one race so they cancelled with Shady Hill. Just hear say, so take it for what it's worth!

Hope POWRi can run a few in Indiana next year. They actually greet you when you show up at the track and are happy you came! They realize they need the racers and treat them that way. The focus is on the racing and not on themselves, car count proves that.
