Hats off to the Clay County promoter for posting on this subject. I don't have a dog in this hunt but last summer I organized a high school reunion, sent out countless emails on the time, place, and cost and I still had people calling me the day before the reunion asking me for details...as well as some people coming and asking how much it cost the day of the reunion!!

Yes his pay out was posted as noted , if anyone would like to put up some sponsor money he would probably apretiate it. Or even bring out the cars that promised to come out and race , this man or any promotor can not take it in the pocket very long or we will be out of another track. Please come out and support nonwing racing in illinois.

To prove a point, last year john gurly rented the track from use for his non wing show at the end of the night he was over 2000 dollars short of making the payout. We insisted on giving him the money so the payout would be paid in full and he took it and paid everyone. Now ask me if we received any of the money back. I'm not trying to throw John under the bus, he had good intentions but we wanted everyone one to come back. I don't know johns finacial situation and I'm sure he will pay use eventually and we don't hood it against him. My point is, the last thing we want is to lose even one car. Thanks michael

RESULTS: May 28 - 1. Chase Stockon, 2. J. C. Bland, 3. Kent Schmidt, 4. Craig Budde, 5. Aric Gentry, 6. Tommy Rockwell, 7. Donnie Brackett, 8. Daniel Robinson, 9. Marty Buell, 10. Mark Brucker, 11. Patrick Budde, 12. Randy Stilley, 13. Steve Thomas, 14. Brandon Mattox. DNS - Korey Weyant, Andy Baugh.
June 4 - 1. Terry Babb, 2. Aric Gentry, 3. Donnie Gentry, 4. Steve Thomas, 5. Peter Palazzola, 6. Nick Handfland, 7. Mark Brucker, 8. Anthony Loehr, 9. Patrick Budde, 10. David Peperak, 11. John Boyd.

If Michael could get everyone listed to show up on the same night it would be a full field. Craig Budde has supportted Clay City Speedway, but I beleive he blew an engine at Haubstadt. Chase Stockon was running at Haubstadt on June the fourth for $3000. to win. June 4th was a tough night for car counts at all tracks because of the number of special races being run at so many speedways. Here is hoping that the cars keep coming and Michael makes enough money to make it work. Thanks to the number of drivers that have supported CCS so far this season. I just want to see Non Wing Sprint Cars survive. Sam Stockon Sr.

Yes, they did, but they are in the process of fazing them out, as well as grades 1 thru 8, it'll be pre-school, then College, no use wasting time, these kids today are so advanced, it's a shame to hold them up! Bob
