I was at work at the Sheriff's Dept. and it shook our building pretty violently. I feilded probably 75-100 911 calls immediately afterwards. I can tell you that no injuries or damage has been reported in Vermillion county.

I wonder if I felt the aftershock because I don't remember anything after the first shake (or I could just not felt the after shock and felt the first one). I am pretty sound sleeper and this woke me up.

Felt it here in Brazil. Probably a reason to raise fuel prices.

The first shake I felt was actually smaller then the second one. Each of them seemed to only last a second or so in Seymour. Definitely got my attention though while getting ready for work.

I felt it here in Brookville. I am about 20 miles west of Dayton, Ohio. Lasted about 10 seconds or so.

I live about 15 miles from the epicenter....it's been a long time since we had one this big! Last one was in 02, but this one lasted much longer - approx 30-45 secs for me.....shook pics off the wall and they are reporting some sinkholes forming already in the E'ville area. We had at least two more aftershocks that I could feel after that. I was sleeping really good too, bummer that it woke me up but glad there's no real damage! Sacha |
