KISS races are not rescheduled per agreement with all the promotors.
such as previous rained out KISS events. I know not everyone will like this decision, but its what we felt was the best decision with the options we had.
All the teams will be paid for thier finishing position, and points awarded. Thanks, Dave

Dave, I fully understand KISS races are not re-scheduled, and since it wasn't complete or even past half way, it should have been cancelled and considered rained out. So, we follow the rule of no rescheduled races, but we change the rule about the number of heat races, that's odd. I know you and your staff were trying to speed up the program because of rain on the way, but, in my opinion, it should have been cancelled, because the last 5-7 laps was NOT racing, and it made unsafe "racing" conditions, and some drivers didn't race real hard in the "rain" in fear of trashing their equipment. There is no way that was 12 laps of "real" racing, so it wasn't fair to the teams, or the fans. I understand races get rained out, so when it rains STOP the show for everyone's safety! Don't try to "race" in the rain, I know several drivers slowed so they wouldn't trash a car, thus losing several positions on the track, THAT IS NOT RACING, and that is NOT what fans, owners, drivers, and teams really want.

Thanks...

very poor judgment on kiss part........ kiss officials never around ... dont believe there are any who care... this decision favors few and mainly the track hosting.

i'd be happy to keep the $13,000 plus i am paying out....but i am not that kind of guy. We threw the flag when the surface got to be unsafe.

How does paying a purse favor the track hosting? It could have been called a complete show with all the b mains ran and no one getting paid.

From what I witnessed, and several drivers I spoke with, race stopped alittle late! I'm just saying, in my opinion, the best decision to treat everyone fair, would have been to cancel.

the race was not complete or even half way complete.......... you will financially benefit without keeping the payout by not letting us finish the race we started.

Some promoters would have taken the money and ran

Whoever came up with saying "damned if you do; damned if you don't" HAD to be talking about a racetrack promoter.
