I agree with you. I saw it as a very positive story of someone who beat their demons and deserved a chance. Don't know about any of you but I have had my share of things I am not real proud of now, but the measure of a man is often what they do after hitting bottom.

I guess I'll file this under "no good deed goes unpunished...?"
