Johnny Coy bears a marked resemblance to A. J. Foyt in this photo.

:O:...I have to agree that in the car he looks like Foyt. Out of the car...well! Coy, although strong as an ox, was barely as tall as Foyt's chest. A hell of a midget driver and my first hero in racing as a boy. He won his first midget title in 1949 with AMRA and his last in 1972 with ARDC.:thumb

Is this Ken Brenn related to the Ken Brenn who ran yellow and orange #24 modifieds in the 70's and 80's in NJ, NY, and PA?

Yes, and I believe Grant King built that modified for Brenn.

Stan Ploski drove the mod, I think, but I am only 100% right 50% of the time.

Oh - I am 100% sure that the modified did not have an Offy in it.

Yepper, I grew up watching ole Stan Ploski in the Brenn modified (as well as others). Brenn also fielded a midget and sprint car in the mid 70's that Stan drove, and dominated in when they ran at Flemington.
