Had rain on and off last night here in Coldwater Ohio just 10 miles from Eldora.
Darke County in which Eldora is located has had twice as much snow, rain, ice than we had in the last three weeks. I am going to take a drive by the track Sat or Sunday and see what it looks like
It's sunny windy and 40 degrees now.
I might be wrong and hope i am but its going to take some windy warm days for them to get the track in shape. If i seen any thing going on there i will post

With the forecast calling for rain next week it does not look good. Mark I have been watching for a report knowing how close you are. If you here anything please let us know, I could save a little gas money by not wasting a trip over. :headbang From 3pm yesterday to 2am this morning we got just shy of an inch of rain here in Kokomo, yard is very soft and garden is unbelievable.

Easy Gang! It'll get here. Why just any day the sun will shine and the grass will grow and before ya no it, there will be Racing... Remember how it went.... In the Beginning there was Darkness, and the Lord said, let there be light, and there was light... and it was good.... Because it was easier to get off work and go racing after Dark..... ON the 2nd day he seperated the Heavens and the Earth and..... that was good too..... cause it generally takes from morning til evening to get the car ready to go to the track....and on the 3rd Day, well he seperated the waters from the land......so it could finally dry out enough to go Rac--------in.......... and that was Good........ now, its a little unclear here about just what class took the track first, cudda been piss ants but I;m sure there was a Promoter out there selling tickets and there was probably some...rubbin going on....and that was Good too.......cause we all know Rubbin is Racin......... unless ya roll a tire... and in that case..... its generally not pretty............. No offence ment to anybody and I do sincerly prey that the Good Lord will forgive my levity along with a number of other things thats just between me and him......Wolfe-e
............. I could probably go on until it dried out, but I best not..... I was in Portsmouth Ohio 3 weeks ago and PRP was Under Water.... I mean way under water.... like the only thing left showing was the fence.......... We aint got it so bad......

That track hasn't been in shape since the 70's and 80's.

Tim,

I was in Steven's Point a month ago or so. That's as much snow as I've ever seen piled up, in person, in my life.

I think we even got more snow here in Plymouth than you seen in Stevens Point Jerry. It was piled so high in town that you could not see when pulling out from a stop sign, basically you creeped out a little into the intersection and just put it to the floor and hoped nobody was coming! :Steer

Yet another raced abandoned due to heavy rain this afternoon. Not just any race either, it is the most prestigious race in Australia, the Australian Title. This season is the first time in 46 years that it won't be contested. If you would like to read anymore on this I suspect that there will be something posted on www.sprintcarworld.com.au real soon.
