Its all about the $$$$$. There weekly shows is not near as strong as it used to be. Forcing them to only bring in traveling series that can make them money or at least break even. Its impossible to cover those huge usac fees when there is only 17 cars setting in the pits (as was the case in the last USAC sprint car race). I'm sure must see is much cheaper and brings in more cars. If your right about the 500 fans for the spring midget race, must see brings in that many fans too. I know most guys on here are not wing fans, but they do put on a very good show up there.

Don Kenyon will still be going there twice with his USSA Regional Midgets, Kenyon Midgets, and Thunder Roadsters. Come out, watch some midget racing, and support the series.

This is unfortunate, I loved going to the DK promotions events and watching all the midgets at Anderson. I enjoyed watching them at Mt. Lawn as well. Last pavement midget race I watched was at Grundy County...not a fan. But as long as Gas City and non wing sprints stick around, all is well with me!
