As a fan it would be nice to see them run at some other tracks like the previous poster mentioned. There are some really nice tracks that cant always afford to run a USAC national show. Vermilion County Speedway would be another good fit for a lower budget series. Also as a fan it gets too expensive to always attend the big shows. I would hope that something like this series would not cost 20 dollars to watch. Between the gas prices and ticket prices always going up its getting very hard for me to attend a lot of races.

I am all for this series and really hope it works out. I've been dirt racing for years and would love to get into sprints but can't drop $10,000 on a motor. If this series gets going I could see myself putting a car together for it as soon as my funds get in line. Just keep it where a guy can still build his own motor and get it inspected and sealed without a lot of hassle. I agree that it will give tracks a chance to run sprints that usually don't have them and can't afford them.

I am aware of the rules for the racesaver.Mine are MUCH cheaper, and are set in stone.
www.cae-engines.com............please read
The engine rules are set in place.
Now, I need people to contact me with their support

In just 5 days, I have taken 7 calls from very happy racers in our area.
If I get enough support, I will do everything in my power to make this happen.
I am sincere, and honest, and will operate this group as such.

What would the payout possibly look like? Any ideas on that yet?
This is a good idea maybe make it a winged series. I think that would work in this region (Western Indiana & Eastern Illinois). There are alot of tracks in this area that would like to see a winged sprint car race at their track with out the high cost of bring them to their respective tracks. Good Luck. It would be great to see this series work out.

Thank you for your input.
I dont know if I will get enough people interested to call me first, so I can get an idea how many would consider supporting it. It is way too early to discuss what track or payouts yet. We are only in the beginning stages of an idea here.
I cant stress how important it is to call me,or e-mail me letting me know you would support it.
While I do not care for wings myself....I do think the advantages will outweigh the disadvantages. For one, you are right, fans are interested in wings(they would be the ones paying our bills)and promoters would like offering something different looking, also, big numbers on the wings, easy to read for the scorers,a place for sponsors,What I dont like is adding an expense for the racer, and finding a place to carry the wing in or on the trailer.Another thought is to try to race at one track.Interest should build faster that way ,rather than making the racer travel around, and fans only seeing it once or twice at their track.Out of sight, out of mind.If we did travel, try to keep it limited, keeping in mind what it costs to get there.

I agree with you, seems everybody has forgotten it's about the fans, and we are in the entertainment business.fans should feel they are getting what they pay for.I have a few ideas how to promote this as an event, not just another race.
