G-1 Weir, 53 Stanbrough, 5-Grant, 17b Burdette, 12g Gurley were the top 5 in the feature. Green to checker in the feature with lapped traffic playing into the finish. Checkered at 9:15 PM.

The heats were won by Josh Spencer in the 66j, Grant in the 5 and Wes McIntyre in the 83. Mike Spencer won the B Main in the 15j. No yellow flags in the heats or the semi. The four modified heats only had one yellow flag. Quickly run show this evening.

They took about a 15 minute intermission even though they didn't have to touch the track. Sorry to see the season end at Gas City but hope that Jiggs and Jack team up again next year.

what else is new ?

It was an awesome suprise to see Mike Spencer there tonight. This guy had a tough heat and a bad draw but was very fast in the main. Ran the top to perfection and if there would have been a few yellows he would have been there fighthing for the lead. Hope to see more of this talented driver in the midwest next year.

Great run by Wier. With JS on the front row I would've bet the barn on that one. Also good runs by Spencer and Burdette. One question, why no T-Mez in the Hazen 57?

T-Mez is over here at Granite City running Jack Yeley's #2 sprint and Mark Bush's #2 midget last night and the midget tonight. Had an accident w/the sprint last night.
