That was a great win and a great race! Blake really had the huge crowd @ TSS on his side, too. Especially as he drove under Darland, they were on their feet, pumping their fists in the air. He's a likable young driver. The post race interview reminded us of that. And he has had the talent and has been exciting to watch, ever since they first rolled him out onto the track, at places like Haubstadt and Kokomo. Hopefully, he can use a high profile victory, such as this one, as a stepping stone to consistently staying at this level. If that happens, all of our tickets just got worth a little bit more.

Great victory for a great guy. The way he has been driving we all knew it would just be a matter of time. Talk about a quality win; last race of Indiana Sprint Week at TSS with Dave Darland, Jon Stanbrough, Bryan Clauson, Damian Gardner and Tracy Hines following you. Way to go Blake! Hope many more follow.

Way to go Blake! You earned it among the best in the business and, nothing was handed to ya. You should be real proud and savor the moment. I have been watching you all year and i'm convinced that this is the first of many more to come. Congrats again!!

Congratulations to Blake Fitzpatrick on his big Indiana Sprint Week win at Tri State Speedway, Haubstadt, In on Saturday.

Blake had his first breakout win at the 2007 Rumble In The Buckeye State at the Ohio State Fairgrounds Coliseum indoor midget races. Blake scored an upset in his Kenyon car 1200 cc Yamaha, defeating full midget cars with 4 cylinder engines.

Here is a series of 3 photos of the day the 15 year old scored a win and $2,000.
