Not looking too promising on the radar, may be heading north to GC instead of south.

It's raining hard (and sideways) here in Terre Haute.

Radar is not looking good for Gas City around 6 and 7. Starting to doubt if I should make the trip up there.

As humid as it is and with storms popping like Orville Redenbacher popcorn, a spot inside in the air conditioning is looking better and better. maybe they will run at Granite City and webcast it. Not looking all that great for there either but better than Indiana

Granite City still looks possible. Although I don't really like that big green blob, to the West of the area, that's been just sitting there for most of the day. Just waiting till the last possible minute, before I go get on I-70 West and make a run for it.

Its a roll of the dice, yellows building up behind the green blob but it doesnt seem to be making too much progress eastward. Might be worth a shot, good luck.

I'm with ya....I'm waiting until 3pm CST to decide. I'm in Columbia, MO which is two hours West of Tri-City. I can take the chance on what is sure to be a great event, or go to a winged race to the East of me that only has a 20% chance of rain..... I work as an aircraft mechanic and I have the weather software that my pilots us installed on my home computers. Based on that, Tri-City is actually looking pretty good, IF they keep the show moving along. Everything that is building West of the STL area should fall apart about 100 miles West of the track. BUT....This is the Missouri/Illinois area during the Spring and ANYTHING can happen, especially if the sun decides to break out.
