There was a flyover at the speedrome for a midget race. The plane was a F-15 it was so low when he went over and so unexpected about everyone had a heart attack. It was so cool. I think it was Dave Furman's brother who was in town for some Raytheon wingding.

The PAS a flyover at their 4th of July race. Warthogs one year and I believe last year it was one of the big cargo master or whatever they are called. Not sure about the type of aircraft though. They are close to March AFB.

About 5 years ago at Indy, the F-15s were so low, I could feel the heat off of them...awesome. To the original question, Powri midgets are also racing in Illinois this weekend. Saturday at Macon and Sunday at Shepps. I plan on making my first visit to Shepps.
