VERY BORING-----VERY
I agree. Wings are like slot cars. I like watching the front wheels, as the traditional sprint cars slide into the corners, going in all different directions. That is what it is all about. Exciting and filled with danger.

Haubstaudt WOO show last year was outstanding! Making a return trip this year.

If ya' saw the finish at Las Vegas, last month, you could not say the WoO is boring!!! Each to their own. I like 'em all if they are open wheeled and on dirt!

LPS and Salem will be my 82nd-83rd tracks. With the 100th coming in a few years I hope.

Beginning of May until the end of September I have sold my racing soul to shoot at my home track South Buxton Raceway on Saturdays. It's only 45 minutes from home, in Canada, no orange barrels, no border backups and just plain cost effective. I just try to hit as many Friday and Sunday races within a few hours of home (Windsor, ON) throughout the summer.

If I did give up my home track gig, I am certain I could clear 100 tracks this summer... I think I might have a problem...
Have a good trip. I stopped counting race tracks a few years ago. Instead, I work on just going to the race that I think will be the best. You should try and swing down in May when I am up. The new Lawrenceburg configuration is something to be seen, too.

As far as the winged comments, I do prefer without, but both winged races that I attended so far this year (ASCS and WoO) were great races.

Way to rub in that you've been to even 1 race so far. It's taken a cold spell up here after a couple warmer days. So I'm really needing some warm weather and racing!

As much as I have said I prefer non wing, I do see a few winged shows every year and do enjoy them just not as much.

WoO late models tonight at Battleground Speedway. I even got one of my pictures on the Houston Chronicle for the article about the event.

Finally got to figure out what my work schedule looks like, and I should be home for the entire thing this year. It has been 2 years since I have been able to make it to any of the sprint week races. probably will only hit gas city, kokomo, brownstown, and bloomington providing I can afford too. Working a less time at work this year. More time with the family but less money.

I wouldn't say you have been to Lawrenceburg because it is a COMPLETELY different track now. Come and check it out!
